Rosie's Mobile RV Service
Terms & Conditions
**Last updated: August 3, 2026 of the Rosie’s Mobile RV Service website and to repair, inspection, maintenance, diagnostic, installation and related services provided by Rosie’s Mobile RV Service.
By booking an appointment, approving an estimate, authorizing work or using this website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions:
1. About Rosie’s Mobile RV Service
Rosie’s Mobile RV Service provides mobile recreational vehicle inspection, diagnostic, maintenance and repair services in Sundre, Alberta, and surrounding areas.
In these Terms and Conditions, “Rosie’s,” “we,” “us” and “our” refer to Rosie’s Mobile RV Service. “Customer,” “you” and “your” refer to the person requesting or authorizing services.
2. Service Appointments
Appointments are subject to availability, location, weather, road conditions, parts availability and the nature of the requested work.
Appointment times are estimates. Mobile service schedules may be affected by travel delays, emergency repairs, unexpected findings on earlier jobs or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. We will make reasonable efforts to advise you of significant delays.
We reserve the right to decline or discontinue work when:
-
The work is outside our qualifications, licensing or available equipment.
-
The worksite or RV presents an unsafe condition.
-
The requested repair would not comply with applicable safety requirements or manufacturer specifications.
-
The customer behaves in a threatening, abusive or inappropriate manner.
-
Required access, information, authorization or payment is not provided.
3. Call-Out Fee
A $50 call-out fee is payable at the time the service appointment is booked.
The call-out fee covers travel and attendance within the service area agreed upon at booking. Additional travel charges may apply for locations outside our standard service area. Any additional travel charge will be disclosed before the appointment is confirmed.
Unless otherwise required by law or agreed to in writing, the call-out fee is separate from labour, diagnostic charges, parts and materials.
4. Diagnostic Fee
Diagnostic services are billed at $125 for the first hour, unless a different amount is stated before the appointment.
The diagnostic fee is payable once the diagnostic work has been completed. When the customer approves and proceeds with the recommended repair or service, the $125 diagnostic fee will be applied as a credit toward the final repair or service invoice.
When the customer declines the recommended repair or service, the diagnostic fee remains payable upon completion of the diagnostic work.
Diagnostic work is intended to identify the most likely cause of a concern based on the information and symptoms available at the time. Some problems may require additional testing, disassembly, operating time or subsequent visits. We will request authorization before proceeding with diagnostic work beyond the amount previously approved.
5. Estimates and Authorization
When requested, we will provide an estimate for proposed repairs or services when reasonably possible.
An estimate is based on the visible condition of the RV, the information provided by the customer and the information available at the time of inspection. Hidden damage, corrosion, water intrusion, previous repairs, inaccessible components or additional faults may not be discovered until work begins.
No repair or service work will be performed without customer authorization. Authorization may be provided in writing, electronically, by text message, by email or verbally where permitted. We may document the date, time, scope and method of authorization.
When additional work or costs are discovered, we will contact the customer for authorization before proceeding, except where immediate action is reasonably necessary to prevent injury or further damage and contacting the customer is not reasonably possible.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits any rights or protections provided to customers under applicable consumer-protection legislation.
6. Parts and Materials
Parts may be new, rebuilt, reconditioned, aftermarket, customer-supplied or previously used, depending on availability and the customer’s authorization.
Where required, we will disclose the general source or condition of installed parts. Manufacturer and supplier warranties are subject to the terms established by the applicable manufacturer or supplier.
All Parts will require advance payment prior to the part being ordered. this includes special-order parts. Special-order, custom or electrical parts may be non-returnable once ordered or installed, subject to applicable law and the supplier’s return policy. These conditions will be disclosed before the order is placed whenever reasonably possible.
Parts availability and delivery dates are outside our direct control. We are not responsible for manufacturer, distributor, courier or supply-chain delays.
Removed parts will be returned to the customer when requested before work begins, unless the part must be returned to a manufacturer or supplier as a warranty core, is subject to an environmental-disposal requirement or cannot legally or safely be returned.
Customer-Supplied Parts
Rosie’s may agree to install customer-supplied parts at our discretion.
We do not guarantee the suitability, quality, safety or compatibility of customer-supplied parts. Additional labour required because a supplied part is incorrect, defective, incomplete or incompatible will be charged to the customer.
Unless required by law, workmanship warranties may not apply to failures caused by customer-supplied parts.
7. Customer Responsibilities
The customer is responsible for:
-
Providing accurate information about the RV, symptoms and repair history.
-
Disclosing known damage, leaks, electrical concerns, propane concerns, modifications and previous repairs.
-
Providing safe and reasonable access to the RV and the affected components.
-
Ensuring the RV is legally and safely located where mobile repairs are permitted.
-
Obtaining permission from a campground, storage facility, property owner or other responsible party when required.
-
Securing pets and keeping children and other individuals away from the work area.
-
Removing personal belongings that obstruct access or could be damaged during service.
-
Providing keys, access codes, manuals and utility connections when required.
-
Advising us of hazardous materials, pest infestations, mould, sewage contamination or other unsafe conditions.
-
Ensuring payment can be made when due.
The customer confirms that they are the owner of the RV or are legally authorized by the owner to approve the requested work.
8. Worksite Safety
The work area must provide sufficient space, lighting, stability and access for the service to be completed safely.
We may postpone or stop work because of severe weather, unsafe terrain, inadequate clearance, unstable leveling, aggressive animals, unsanitary conditions, electrical hazards, propane leaks or any other condition we reasonably consider unsafe.
Additional charges may apply when a return visit is required because the worksite was inaccessible, unsafe or not prepared as agreed.
9. Payment
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due when the applicable diagnostic, repair or service work is completed.
All prices are stated in Canadian dollars and are subject to applicable taxes.
Accepted payment methods will be communicated at booking or shown on the invoice. The customer is responsible for any bank, payment-processing or returned-payment fees permitted by law.
We may require a deposit or progress payment for large repairs, special-order parts, insurance work or projects requiring significant materials.
Invoices not paid when due may be subject to lawful collection efforts and any interest or administrative charges disclosed on the estimate or invoice.
10. Cancellations, Rescheduling and Missed Appointments
Please provide as much notice as possible when cancelling or rescheduling an appointment.
The call-out fee may be retained or applied toward costs already incurred when:
-
An appointment is cancelled after travel has begun.
-
We arrive and cannot access the RV.
-
The RV is no longer at the agreed location.
-
The customer or an authorized representative is unavailable when required.
-
The worksite is unsafe or was not prepared as agreed.
-
Required permission to perform the work has not been obtained.
-
Any additional cancellation or rescheduling charge will be disclosed during booking or before it is applied.
11. Completion Times
Any estimated completion date or repair timeline is an estimate only and is not guaranteed.
Completion may be affected by diagnostic findings, hidden damage, customer authorization, parts availability, weather, access limitations, supplier delays, insurance approval or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We will make reasonable efforts to keep the customer informed when a significant change to the expected timeline occurs.
12. Inspections
An inspection reflects the condition of the visible and reasonably accessible components at the time of inspection. Unless specifically agreed in writing, an inspection is not a certification, appraisal, insurance inspection, structural-engineering assessment or guarantee that every defect will be discovered.
Some conditions may be hidden behind walls, floors, cabinets, roofing materials, underbelly panels or other components and may not be identified without destructive or invasive testing.
Complimentary roof inspections are visual inspections only unless additional testing or disassembly is approved.
13. Water Damage and Seal Repairs
Water intrusion may travel beyond the visible entry point and can cause hidden damage. Roof resealing, seal replacement or repair of one suspected entry point does not guarantee that no other leaks or damaged areas exist.
Existing water damage, mould, rot, delamination and structural deterioration may not become fully visible until materials are removed.
The customer will be advised when additional damage is discovered, and further work will require authorization.
14. Propane, Electrical and Appliance Services
RV propane, electrical and appliance systems may contain hazardous components and stored energy. Customers must not operate, alter or interfere with a system that has been tagged, disconnected or identified as unsafe.
Some appliance or system failures may be intermittent and may not occur during the service appointment. A system operating during testing is not a guarantee that it will remain free from future failure.
Repairs will be performed within the scope of our qualifications and available testing procedures. Work outside that scope may be referred to another qualified professional.
15. Insurance Claims
We may assist with estimates, photographs, documentation and communication relating to an insurance claim. However, Rosie’s Mobile RV Service does not control the insurer’s coverage decision, approved repair method, payment amount or processing timeline.
The customer remains responsible for all charges not paid by the insurer, including deductibles, excluded repairs, betterments, additional work and amounts exceeding the insurer’s approval.
Authorization from an insurer does not replace authorization from the customer unless otherwise agreed in writing.
16. Workmanship and Warranty Claims
Any workmanship warranty offered by Rosie’s Mobile RV Service will be stated on the applicable estimate, work order or invoice.
Rosie’s Mobile RV Service does not perform manufacturer warranty repairs. For any repairs covered under your RV’s warranty, please contact an authorized dealership or warranty service provider.
Emergency circumstances will be considered reasonably, but reimbursement for third-party work is not guaranteed unless approved by us in writing beforehand.
Nothing in this section limits warranties or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
17. Limitation of Liability
Rosie’s Mobile RV Service will take reasonable care while performing authorized work.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, including loss of use, lost travel time, campground fees, accommodation expenses, lost income or missed reservations arising from a breakdown, repair delay or parts delay.
We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, concealed defects, manufacturer defects, improper prior repairs or damage caused by inaccurate or incomplete information supplied by the customer.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits a customer’s statutory rights.
18. Photographs and Service Records
We may photograph the RV, damaged areas, identifying information, components and completed work for estimating, documentation, insurance, and service-record purposes.
Customer-identifying photographs will not be used for public advertising or social-media marketing without permission.
19. Personal Information
We may collect personal information reasonably required to provide services, process payments, prepare estimates and invoices, communicate with customers, maintain service records and comply with legal obligations.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws and our Privacy Policy.
By providing an email address or telephone number, you authorize us to contact you regarding appointments, estimates, authorizations, invoices, service updates and warranty matters. Promotional messages will only be sent where consent or another lawful basis exists.
20. Website Information
The information provided on this website is for general informational purposes. It is not a substitute for an inspection or diagnosis of a specific RV.
Although we aim to keep website information accurate, services, pricing, promotions, availability and policies may change. A current written estimate or service agreement will take priority over general website information.
21. Website Content and Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the website’s text, photographs, graphics, logos, branding and other original content belong to Rosie’s Mobile RV Service and may not be copied, reproduced, modified or used commercially without written permission.
22. Third-Party Websites and Services
Our website may contain links to manufacturers, suppliers, payment providers, social-media platforms or other third parties. We are not responsible for the content, security, availability or privacy practices of third-party websites or services.
23. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes will become effective when the revised version is posted on our website unless otherwise stated.
The Terms and Conditions in effect when a service is booked will generally apply to that appointment, together with the applicable estimate, authorization and invoice.
24. Severability
If any part of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
25. Governing Law
